Studying Abroad

Studying abroad is a very enriching and exciting experience for students and their parents, however families should also be aware of the challenges of living and learning in a foreign country. Teenagers in particular are very vulnerable and if their parents are not aware of the potential risks their children face when moving to a radically different environment, they may fail to support their children adequately.

This is especially true for adolescents aged 13-18 who are relatively independent yet their social, problem-solving and life skills are still developing and their psyche is in a very turbulent place, finding their new identity as an adult. Therefore we have developed a Study Abroad brochure for you that also includes an interview with Anh Ngoc who was sent abroad to a prestigious boarding school at the age of 13.
