Information for New Teachers
The British Vietnamese International School is a friendly, supportive and professional working environment for teachers. Help, information and advice is always available for new colleagues. We will do everything we can to make sure teachers settle in and feel comfortable as soon as possible.
After a short period of adjustment to their surroundings, new teachers find Ho Chi Minh City an interesting and exciting place to live. In order to help with the initial adjustment the existing teachers of the school have created an information booklet based on suggestions from those who have also been new to the city at some stage. Each year it is updated based by the most recently appointed teachers. We hope it will answer some of the many questions people have about living in HCMC and better prepare them for the move.
