Nguyen Thi Thuy Van

BA in Primary Education, HCMC University of Pedagogy; BA in Education, specialising in English, HCMC University of Pedagogy; PGCE Primary Education, University of Sunderland, UK

Van has been teaching for many years. She previously worked at Phan Van Tri Primary School in District 1, HCMC where she was in charge of the Intensive English Program. In 2010 she joined the British International School, An Phu, before joining BVIS in 2011. Van has worked with children across the Primary years. She loves to travel and believes in the importance of lifelong learning and modelling this. As a result, she travels every two years to study both in France and the Philippines. She was also elected to attend a year’s course in Rome, where she studied Human Anthropology, Leadership Theory and Principles, Project and Team Management training. She put into practice work in different European countries: Germany, Poland, Ireland and France. During her spare time Van enjoys spending time with her family, working with cancer charities by supporting the families, reading and jogging in the park.
