Fergus qualified as a teacher in 1990 and has just completed the first 25 years of his music teaching career. During that time, he worked principally in England, with head of department posts in London, Somerset and Cornwall. In 2013 he embarked on an international adventure, taking up a role as secondary music co-coordinator in The Sultan’s School, Oman. He and his family are now very excited to be re-locating to Vietnam and joining the BIS/BVIS community. As well as having a keen interest in all types of music, Fergus enjoys camping, vegetarian food and sports including swimming cycling and running.
