Origianally from The United States, I have taught both at home and abroad. My international school experience includes working in Tianjin, China; Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; Chiang Mai, Thailand and now at NISC in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
From Michigan State University I attained my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and my Masters of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction, both received with honors. I have a strong passion for education and leadership that has only grown with my 20 years of teaching experience. As I enjoy working with students of all ages, this experience has ranged from teaching 4 year olds through to adults. As an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Workshop Leader, I have led 7 different PYP workshops.
My belief in sustainabiity has led to me being offered a seat on the board of Compass Education, which is leading the way forward in teaching sustainable habits of mind.
