Dalton Flanagan

Staff Profile - Dalton Flanagan

Grade 5 Teacher

Dalton moved from Bangkok to Phnom Penh to join the Northbridge faculty. He has a Masters Degree in International Education.

  • University of Arizona Bachelor Degree in Psychology
  • Teaching Certificate from Arizona, Masters in International Education from Framingham State University
  • Certificate of Education Technology and Information Literacy from SUNY Buffalo

After graduating from the University of Arizona with a degree in Psychology, Dalton returned to school to receive a teaching certificate in Arizona. He started his international teaching career in Bangkok in 2010. He worked at a constructionist school centered on the teachings of the MIT professor, Seymour Papert. From there he changed to an international school in Bangkok. In 2015, he arrived in Phnom Penh to become a teacher at Northbridge International School.

In 2009, he was the first person to reach the summit of Mount Aconcagua in South America. He is still an avid rock climber and has climbed all over the world. I am a lifelong learner and continue to pursue professional development and other opportunities to improve myself as a teacher.
