Grade 2 Teacher

Jessica is looking forward to returning for her third year of teaching in the primary school at Northbridge International School Cambodia. She has 9 years of teaching the PYP internationally. In addition to teaching she also coaches the senior girls volleyball team and is involved in the primary STEAM club. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, The University of Tennessee

  • Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, The University of Tennessee

  • Teaching English in the Mainstream Classroom Certified

Jessica is from Chicago and this is her third year of teaching at Northbridge International School but her first year teaching Grade 2. The last 6 years of her career she had been teaching Grade 3 but before that she began her career teaching Kindergarten. She is looking forward to the challenge of working with a new age group of children at Northbridge this academic year. She has been teaching abroad in PYP international schools for the last 8 years. She has worked in Kuwait and Mongolia before coming to Cambodia and is happy to say that Cambodia has been her favorite place to live. She hopes to embody a love of learning to all her students and and promote a positive and supportive school culture.

In her free time she enjoys riding her bike, listening to music, playing all sorts of sports, hiking, reading and traveling.
