Staff Profile - Paul Stanley

IB Economics and Individuals & Societies Teacher, TOK

Paul Stanley joins Northbridge International School Cambodia from Bilkent Laboratory and International School in Ankara ,Turkey, where he was the IB Economics teacher and Social Sciences Department Head. Before that he taught for 12 years mostly in the Rockwood School District in the United States.

Paul Stanley began his teaching career in 2002 in the United States. The majority of his career there was spent teaching Advanced Placement courses in the Rockwood School District located outside St. Louis, Missouri. During this time Paul became an AP examiner for the College Board as well as a National Board Certified Teacher. In 2015, Paul moved to Ankara, Turkey, to teach at Bilkent Laboratory and International School. There, he taught IB Economics and served as the Head of Department for International Social Sciences.

Paul is married (his wife Elizabeth is teaching EL 4) with two children, who will be attending school at Northbridge. His hobbies include reading, studying history, following politics, live music, reading comic books, and watching films. He also enjoys running, even though he is slow and not very good at it. Paul is very excited to be at Northbridge and to be working with the amazing students that attend here.
