Staff Profile - Piotr Mazowiecki Kocyk

Deputy Head of Secondary, Diploma Programme Coordinator

Piotr Mazowiecki-Kocyk has a Masters Degree from the University of Warsaw (Poland). He has been working at Northbridge International School Cambodia for 3 years as DP Coordinator and Biology Teacher.

Piotr Mazowiecki-Kocyk has been teaching Biology for 10 years. He also taught DP Psychology and ESS. His outstanding achievements and deep knowledge about the Diploma Programme had been appreciated as he became a DP IB Workshop Leader and Consultant. He has extensive experience in assessment in the DP, both external exams and internal assessment. Piotr has worked as DP Coordinator in Poland and Qatar. Currently, he is a member of the DP Science Curriculum Review Team in the Hague and chair of the DP Regional Network. He also runs summer courses for DP students at Oxford University. Piotr was a speaker at IB Global Conferences in the Hague (2015) and Yokohama (2017).

Piotr is married and has 2 children. When he has spare time, he cooks or spends time outdoor with his family. His passion is food, travelling and Japanese literature.
