Remember when Year 2 student Tanush D. took the big prize for the Young Inventor's Challenge for the Chicago Toy and Game Fair back in November?

The fun and accolades didn't stop there, as our Smart Seals student had a chance to present at the American International Toy Fair in NYC during his spring half-term break.

"We had such a lovely time in NYC. Tanush's award function (it's like the 'Oscars' for the Toy and Game industry) was so amazing," said Tanush's mom, Niyati. "He got to meet a lot of important people from the toy and game world."

During his trip, Tanush presented the Game of the Year award during the ceremony along with attending a reception dinner. Also, this BISC Lincoln Park student went behind the scenes at the Toy and Game trade fair, which was not open to public.

"We visited almost 12 to 15 stalls," Niyati said. "My son learned about so many different inventions and ideas. He met with people from different toy companies and also went behind the doors at the Lego stall. Overall it was an amazing learning experience for all of us."

Congrats again to Tanush and his family from BISC Lincoln Park for their successes beyond the classroom. We're looking forward to seeing what he does next!
