What are the aims for your students and your teaching philosophy?

Depending on their goals, I creatively gear my teaching to accommodate their personality (As a voice student: what types of genre and style they would be a good fit for), their likes/dislikes, and development of the technique on that given instrument. Since There is a lot of future possibilities for students at BISC, I also make sure that they have an chance to learn about what it is like to have a career as a musician and what opportunities are available for them.

What is the highlight of your performing career?

I have had the opportunity to play with multiple ensembles and in multiple venues. Among all the experiences I would say the most exciting was being able to play with the Valerie Orth band at the American Music Hall in San Francisco, CA.
