I was born and raised in Wisconsin, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in history and anthropology from Marquette University and began working in education and teaching. I became certified to teach history and also worked in test preparation, including teaching ACT and SAT classes. Although I enjoyed education, I had long desired a career in the healthcare field and made a career change to nursing, obtaining my Master’s degree in Nursing from DePaul University.
I have loved getting to know the students and staff at BISC Lincoln Park and learning more about everyone’s different backgrounds. I’ve felt welcomed here and have enjoyed seeing all of the unique learning opportunities and activities the students participate in. I look forward to continuing to help everyone stay healthy in the coming school year!
