Danielle Jones 2016

French Specialist

I was born and grew up in a small town in Devon, in the southwest of England. I enjoy traveling, learning new languages, and experiencing different cultures. I love living near the lake in Chicago - one of my favorite things to do is to walk along the lakefront path and admire the scenery.

Unique and global opportunities enhance every student's learning experience. Foreign languages have an important role here at BISC Lincoln Park, and our program empowers learners with valuable skills they can continue to develop for the rest of their lives. We believe that learning a foreign language is not only a gateway to other cultures and countries, but also helps develop awareness of our own languages, cultures and customs, encouraging our students to become more sensitive to others and developing as confident communicators.

  • Universities Attended: University of Leeds; University of Nottingham
  • Degrees Earned: Joint Honors degree in French and Italian: Literature and Language

What our students say:

"I feel happy because I can speak French."

"I like speaking French because then you can go to different places and you can speak French there."

"I like all the French you teach me."

"We love you!"
