The Léman Family Association (LFA) is a parent-run association that collaborates with the school to promote school spirit, enrich cultural diversity, and above all, make our children’s’ experience at Léman a positive and fun experience. Parents are the necessary backbone of any education system to succeed, and with an organisation like the LFA, we can work together to make this possible.
The Léman Family Association (LFA) is a group of parents and/or legal guardians of Léman students that collaborates with the school for the greater good of all students. Membership to the Leman Family Association is automatic for all parents/guardians of students. The LFA committee is made up of volunteer parent representatives, who commit their dedication and contribution to the LFA. The LFA committee manages LFA operations and acts as a liaison between parents and the school.
The LFA provides a platform for parents to be informed and to create open, honest, and respectful communication among parents-students-staff; motivating parents to be involved in school activities; and ultimately, empowering, supporting, and encouraging our children towards their path to success.
The LFA organises various events and activities throughout the entire school year, including parents know-each-other and engagement, hobbies and interests, school sports support, traditions and celebrations, International Day, students' awards and teacher’s appreciations –to name but a few.
The LFA relies on volunteers. The success of the LFA comes from our highly committed and hard-working parent volunteers. We have a number of important volunteer opportunities available, and we are looking for your time and talent. We are so grateful for your dedication, and we are counting on you to help to make Léman even more successful!
Get involved as much as you can, as your gift of time and talent enriches not only your child’s year, but also the overall educational experience for all students. Your involvement could be direct participation in LFA activities or indirect support of LFA suggestions and donations. The LFA is here to help you become more connected to our school community.
How to Register as a LFA Volunteer
- Fill out our LFA volunteer form and send an email to LFA@lis-chengdu.com.
- Get in touch with your homeroom parent to volunteer in LFA activities.
- Attend LFA meetings or participate in LFA events to get details and to sign up as a LFA volunteer.
- Scan an individual event's QR Code to participate in the activity.
- Send your suggestions and ideas to LFA@lis-chengdu.com.
