I have worked in the UK for more than 9 years prior to moving on to international teaching in Hungary, Malaysia and now the USA. I am a Corporate Professional Development Leader, developing leadership in school and comprehensive use of data for tracking progress and intervention for learning. Nord Anglia Education has recognised my work in developing teachers by awarding me the Regional Professional Learning Community Award in 2014.
My leadership style, drive and array of experiences bring a unique approach to learning perfectly suited for our new campus, our school philosophy and pedagogy. I am thrilled to be joining the BISH Senior Leadership Team and look forward to working with our wonderful students, experienced teachers and supportive parents during this new school year.
In my free time I enjoy spending my time playing sports, volunteer work and discovering more about the local culture.
What the students say about me
“Mr Walton makes computing fun!”
“Mr Walton adds geeky IT humour to lessons, which makes things easier to learn.”
“Mr Walton cares about how well we do at school”
This school is different to all others I've worked at because...
This is the most pedagogically advanced campus I have worked at, completely designed with the intention of learning first. The students will have a great learning experience during their time here at the school. I've been extremely impressed by the students' passion to develop a caring, welcoming and respectful atmosphere in this unique international school.
