Karyn holds a B. Ed in Primary Education from the University of Dundee, Scotland (UK) and an Ad. Dip in Special Educational Needs from the University of Leeds (Primary and Secondary). In addition to this she has a TEFL Diploma, EYFS qualification and is Level 3 Safeguarding qualified.
She has 27 years of experience as a Teacher and Leader in both British and International schools. Her career began in West Yorkshire, she worked initially in an Infant school before teaching in a hospital school. She then moved to Atlanta, Georgia in the US where she enjoyed teaching as an Interrelated Teacher (learning support) in a middle school. She then moved to Thailand in 2000 and worked in two other international schools before joining Regents in 2006. Karyn started as a Year 1 teacher at Regents and has felt privileged to grow professionally while working in a school she is so passionate about. Outside of school she enjoys spending time with her husband, genealogy, cooking, sewing and travelling.
