Staff Profile: Natalie Walker

Natalie Walker

Pre-Nursery & Nursery Leader

Natalie has worked at BISS Puxi for 9 years, joining the school just after its opening. She came from England where she was working in a nursery for children with special needs. She studied early years education and pre-school practice overseas and gained several diplomas in this area including child psychology. 

As a mother of two young children, Ella and Jake, Natalie's life outside of school revolves around them. As a family they enjoy visiting the sights around Shanghai and trying new restaurants. When she has some free time to herself Natalie likes to settle down and read a book in the peace and quiet. Natalie feels that being a parent of a child in Early Years Cubs has made her a better practitioner as she knows as a parent what she wants to see for her own child. This inspires her to do the best she can within the EYC unit.
