Richard Thompson

Richard Thompson

Year 3 Class Teacher

Richard graduated from the University of Leeds, York St. John, UK in 2003 with a BA (Hons) in Theology and followed this with a Master’s Degree in 2005. He gained his PGCE from Newman University, UK in 2013. Richard has taught for four years from Year 3 to Year 6 in the UK and has had responsibility as a Phase Leader, English lead and Teach First mentor. Prior to training as a teacher, Richard worked in the Royal Household, Windsor Castle and at The College of St George, Windsor Castle.

Richard strives continuously to improve the learning experiences of all his students, and enjoys embracing fresh challenges to realise his own full potential as an innovative classroom practitioner. Richard is a keen sportsman with a wide range of interests as a runner, hiker, rider and gym member.
