She went on to gaining some experience in translation and accounts before deciding to go back to university and obtain a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education, this time in Leeds, England. Never wanting to stop improving her language skills, she continued studying and achieved a further Master’s degree with a double specialisation in scientific and technological language.
Luz Divina has teaching experience in French, German and Spanish both in the UK and abroad. She has launched and run a Spanish department and been responsible for the introduction and implementation of ICT in the MFL curriculum. She has joined BISS with great enthusiasm and hopes to pass on her passion for languages, ICT and life-long learning.
In her own time, Luz-Divina enjoys a variety of activities. She has played basketball at a competitive level and likes swimming, water-sports and playing tennis with friends. Luz-Divina plays the clarinet and is a keen photographer, always willing to travel or wait to capture a good shot. Since she came to China, she has also started learning Mandarin and looks forward to discover a whole new language and culture.
