Staff Profile: David Millake

David MILLAKE

Science Teacher / Chemistry

BSc (Hons) Biochemistry, University of Wales, UK

PGCE, University of Cambridge

Dr David Millake graduated from the University of Wales before completing a PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Leicester and a PGCE in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge. He began his teaching career in England, working at two of the country’s leading independent schools, before moving to Kuwait in 1996. In 2001 he became Head of Chemistry at the New English School, in Kuwait, where he spent the following 12 years, before moving on to Dulwich College, Zhuhai in 2013. David is now living in Ho Chi Minh with his wife, Beir, and 4 year old son, Luke, who joins BIS in the EYFS programme.
