Staff Profile: Jessica Bell

Jessica Bell_273

Year 5 Teacher / English Subject Leader

I am so pleased that I made the decision to move to Vietnam. Teaching at BIS allows me to be a reflective practitioner who creates a nurturing atmosphere full of challenge, curiosity and reflection. Both our children and staff have a clear enthusiasm for the lifelong process of learning and I love being a part of the BIS community!

BA (Hons) Primary Education (5-11), York St John University, UK

Jessica joined BIS in August 2013. Before arriving in Vietnam, she taught for three years at Colwich C of E Primary School in Staffordshire, England. In this role, she taught Years 2 and 4 and held the position of Creative Curriculum and Modern Foreign Languages Co-ordinator.

Jessica loves travelling and has previously spent time teaching in Belgium, Nepal and Ghana, as well as visiting many other countries across Europe, Asia and Africa. She particularly enjoys exploring new cultures and trying to learn the languages of the areas she visits. Jessica’s other interests include reading, listening to live music, singing and going to the theatre.
