St Andrews Bangkok recently hosted professional development workshops for IB Asia-Pacific, welcoming 290 educators from across the region to enhance their teaching practices in International Baccalaureate programmes. The workshops offered insights into updated syllabi for various courses, while also spotlighting the launch of the IB Career-related Programme at St Andrews, fostering networking opportunities and reinforcing the school's commitment to academic excellence.

From project start to completion, the students were immersed in marine sustainability, finding solutions which address environmental challenges related to building and implementing artificial coral reefs. Their interdisciplinary work focused on coral reef restoration off the coast of Rayong. Designed to showcase their hard work and present these innovative solutions to experts within the marine field, the project has been supported by Thai Ocean Academy and Aow Thai Marine Ecology Centre (ATMEC), who were also in attendance at the event.
On 14 January 2024, St Andrews International School Bangkok hosted our first-ever Flames Open Chess Tournament at the Primary Campus. Nearly 100 children competed from St Andrews Bangkok, other schools, and Chess Academies.

We had the honour of hosting Ms Hilary Easton at St Andrews International School Bangkok for an exciting week of dance workshops. A New York native, artistic director of her own contemporary dance company Hilary Easton + Company, and a distinguished Dance Composition specialist at Juilliard, Hilary certainly came in with a wealth of experience and knowledge to share.
Lifelong bonds are formed in our classrooms, corridors, and communal spaces. These friendships – which span nationalities and age groups – offer comfort, emotional support, and a sense of belonging. They also bring laughter and fun – as well as providing the backdrop to unforgettable shared learning experiences.
St Andrews High School Students from Years 7 and 8 had a very enjoyable and successful week working on their STEAM MIT Global Challenge: designing a plant that could cope with extreme weather phenomenons in Thailand.
Life at St Andrews is fun and exciting. But we also understand that every student’s learning journey involves lots of hard work and academic pressure. This can cause our young people to feel stressed, whether it’s because of exams or coursework deadlines, or high expectations.
