KEY STAGE 3 Curriculum

Students in Years 7, 8, and 9 at our secondary school in Slovakia follow the English National Curriculum, which is adapted to meet the needs of our diverse international school community. Our programme provides the perfect blend of challenge and support, helping our learners to successfully transition from primary to the IGCSE.

We nurture our students’ talents at a wide range of extra-curricular clubs, too. Our Slovak and Korean nationals follow tailored language programmes, and we encourage all our students to take French, German or Spanish courses.

Cambridge IGCSE

In Years 10 and 11, students at our secondary school in Slovakia study for their Cambridge IGCSE.

Key Stage 4 is the ideal time to personalise your child’s education based on their academic interests and ambitions. Our students take between 7 and 11 subjects, including mandatory English, maths and science, and choose from optional programmes in music, art, PE, and more.

After two years of hard work, learners sit their exams in May or June. Our Cambridge IGCSE courses are globally recognised, which means they’re accepted by schools and universities around the world.

Once a student has passed their Cambridge IGCSE exams, they’re accepted on to our IB Diploma Programme.
