We care for the wellbeing of our students and staff. In particular, our students' wellbeing is our number one priority headed by our experienced pastoral team and is a whole school responsibility. We offer a wide range of sports and wellbeing activities that our students love. Our state-of-the-art facilities allow every student to safely participate, compete, have fun and stay healthy throughout the year.

Students can explore their athletic abilities through a wide range of sports and physical activities suitable for all levels of experience. Our beautiful indoor and outdoor facilities give students spaces to compete, stay active and healthy. We have a multi-use sports hall, dance studio, cardio fitness and weights rooms, indoor heated swimming pool, dedicated Early Years swimming pool, indoor basketball courts, outdoor full size football pitch, and air-filtered sports dome for all seasons.

BSB Bears and Aqua Bears sports teams compete with success at a high level within the Beijing schools’ sports network and through ACAMIS, ISAC, FOBISIA, and NAE competitions for international schools across China and greater Asia.

Primary Sports Day

We all know the benefits of sports and staying active. Primary had an amazing week completing four successful Sports Days in perfect weather!

Everyone enjoyed the House Parade followed by a short warm up dressed in their house colours - Vikings (Yellow), Romans (Blue), Saxons (Green) and Normans (Red). Students participated with enthusiasm and good sport. They rotate through many challenging and fun competitions such as 60m Race, 150m Race, High Jump, Long Jump, Obstacle Course, Sack Race, Tennis Ball, Vortex, Discus, Target Throw and Shuttle Relay.

Thanks to our PE Teachers who organised these wonderful events and our Secondary students who helped support the Early Years Sports Day, taking good care of our youngest athletes. A special Thank You to our parents who came to cheer their children along and the PTA for providing popsicles!
