In order to be academically successful, which Mr. Ferguson expects for all of our students, he ensures that first they are happy and safe in school. To that end he works to create the right environment for students to flourish. Mr. Ferguson shares that school has to prepare our students to be responsible global citizens, confident individuals and successful learners, and that time at school should prepare our students for life, equipping them with the skills, knowledge and abilities to be the best they can be and to be truly life ready. Nord Anglia Education and Léman provide the highest standards of education with outstanding teachers. He values working for such a vibrant and exciting company, which drives educational change through advanced pedagogy and theories of learning, and constantly strives to reach new heights of excellence. Mr. Ferguson understands and supports a desire to improve year on year and make every child’s learning journey remarkable.
Mr. Ferguson enjoys rugby and football, though as a spectator rather than participating these days. Travelling is another one of his passions and living in China has been the springboard for a number of trips around Asia. He is joined in Chengdu by his wife and young son, currently in the Primary school, and as a result, most of his free time is spent on STEAM projects – building Lego to be precise.
