After completing his degree, Robert went on to do a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Bangor University. Since gaining QTS and becoming a teacher, he has evolved continuously as he has adapted to new children, new schools and new challenges.
Robert started his teaching career in Bolton. In his early career, each class of children which Robert worked with left a lasting impact on him. He has learnt extensively from all his students and has enjoyed the challenges they have presented to him. Robert has constantly strived to create a nurturing learning environment where his students feel confident to explore new topics and are inspired to develop their knowledge.
In Robert’s later career, he has developed his interest in leading school projects and developed his role as a senior leader. Robert has spent the last 4 years of his career as the Assistant Head of Primary School at the British School of Nanjing. This role has seen Robert guide his school and staff through some challenging times, providing the stability and reliability needed from a leader.
