LIS Battle of the Bands 2022

Recently, the Music department held the first ever Battle of the Bands competition for Léman International School Chengdu.  

During the event, the students participating displayed not only their musicianship skills but also their communication and collaboration skills. In the two months before the event, Ms. Sotto and Ms. Webster have been impressed with the independence and dedication of the students, as many of these bands have been practicing almost every lunchtime for weeks. 

The Music department would like to thank Miss Jordan Olson, Miss Betty Zhu, Mr. Ryan McKinnon and Mr. Matt Fletcher for judging for the competition. They would also like to thank LFA, Gili’s Bar and Restaurant, and Il Girasole for sponsoring the prizes.
