Dear Parents and Students

It was another eventful week at NAISAK, where we hosted an internal audit from colleagues in our Nord Anglia central office in Hong Kong.  Overall, we achieved a rating of ‘good’, which is the highest rating that has been awarded to any school within the family.  I am pleased to inform you that we did not have any areas that were considered to be of ‘high importance’ that require immediate attention.  However, there were some areas of low and medium risk that we will address in the coming weeks.  We also had an additional visit from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) where they further inspected our records to ensure we were fully compliant with their guidelines.  Again, the update we received was encouraging and we look forward to receiving a report with their feedback.

I am extremely pleased to announce that we met with the construction team this week to assess the area which will be where our new hardcourts will be located, so they can begin the process of levelling the area this term.  Last Tuesday morning’s meeting and inspection marked the beginning of this exciting process.  We are all very anxious to have our sports facilities completed in the coming months and I will keep you updated of our progress.  The initial phase will include having two hardcourts and a grassed-in area next to the Secondary School building, which will substantially add to our existing facilities.
