Exceptional learners, Yyah Adriana, Sayed Hassan and Shakeel Hameed from NAISAK have celebrated securing prestigious accolades for their academic successes in their GCS and A level subjects. Sayed was recognized as a high achiever for Grade A or higher for 3 subjects Shakeel attained the highest mark in Qatar for both A level Physics and Biology.
The OPLA awards are a testament to the students' outstanding performance, as they competed against millions of peers in the country and globally who took the same subjects. This recognition reaffirms NAISAK's commitment to nurturing academic excellence and fostering a learning environment that inspires students to reach the pinnacle of their potential.
Senior Regional Development Manager for Pearson Edexcel, Ameena Soysa visited the school personally to deliver the awards and commented “This award is such a big achievement and these students have done so well, I wanted to take the opportunity to personally congratulate you. We have roughly 3-4 million students each year sitting these exams so to be ranked at the top is really something!”
Students selected for the OPLA awards are those who have excelled in more than 5 subjects in their International GCSE/GCSEs, achieving a Grade 8 and above. For A Levels, the minimum requirement is proficiency in 3 subjects with a grade of A and above in an examination series.
