I was born in Malaga, in the South of Spain where I obtained my Bachelor Degree in Humanities at the University of Malaga then went on to complete my teaching qualification at the University of Salamanca. I started my professional career in 1999, working as a Humanities and Language teacher in ‘The British School of Gran Canaria”.
Having worked in both the Spanish and the British system for many years, I have acquired an excellent knowledge of the British National curriculum, some international exam boards (CIE, Edexcel) together with the Spanish educational system.
After working as a senior teacher in charge of validation of British studies in the Spanish educational system and Spanish universities entries for 12 years, my family and I moved to Abu Dhabi to meet new challenges and experiences.
I like to spend my free time with my friends, my husband and my two young children, who are also at BIS Abu Dhabi, enjoy the sunshine, dancing flamenco and cooking… I particularly like discovering about different cultures and visiting museums and art exhibitions!
