Principal's Message

Dear Parents,

Last week we were lucky enough to host a visit from our friends at the Directorate of Industrial Security. The team came to school to share a workshop with two classes in Year 4. Following the National Anthem, the workshop began with a presentation given in both English and Arabic on the role of the Directorate. The children enjoyed hearing more about how the department keeps our key oil and gas facilities safe. Our students then had some activity time, working on colouring and games with our visitors. Our Year 4 students modelled exemplary behaviour and paid good attention to our guests. They were all very happy to receive a gift bag at the end of the workshop and particularly loved the special game made just for the visit. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to meet with members of our local community and hear all about their work. At the end of the workshop, I was honoured to be presented with a shield from the Directorate and a beautiful picture to remind the students how they should behave in school. We had a wonderful morning together and look forward to welcoming our friends back into school in the near future. Special thanks to Mr Al Muhannadi for arranging this for us, we are the first school in Qatar to benefit from this workshop.

Following feedback from parents and our wider school community, we have made some changes to our Front Desk Reception team. By popular request, Ms Beng returns as Head Receptionist. I know many of you missed Ms Beng’s pleasant manners and efficient work so we are happy to welcome her back to the desk. I am also pleased to announce that Ms Eman joins the team, having worked in both our Arabic Department and in our Admissions team for a few months already. I am sure you will enjoy seeing her friendly face when you come to school! You may already be aware that Ms Jenette is now the Secretary for the Secondary School and Ms Ezhil for the Primary school, which should help you when seeking meetings with teachers. I hope these changes promote positive communication with the school.

Here are their contact details for your reference, to make it easier to speak to the right person, right away.

Have a lovely week!
