Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Students

I had the opportunity to attend the Nord Anglia Regional Conference from Wednesday to Friday, which was themed ‘Positive Education’. I was able to attend many exciting and informative workshops that highlighted best practice from across the 24 Nord Anglia schools in Europe, the Middle East and India. NAISAK’s own Hannah Tibbs and Cassandra Molloy presented interactive workshops on Positive Discipline in the Classroom that were well received. We also had Chris Parfitt attend sessions on University Counselling. Additionally, Madhuja Bhattacharya, our HR Manager worked with HR colleagues from the region as well.

Unfortunately, this meant I was not able to observe Book Day, which by all accounts was a huge success. Congratulations to everybody that was involved in the event.

Facilities

The target handover date is approximately 80 days away and the ‘civil work’ will be complete in five to ten days for the new Secondary School. The only remaining work besides the finishings is the installation of the gas lines for our science labs. The pool is also progressing well. The construction team has started laying the tile work.

aWe have a progress meeting scheduled on Tuesday and I will continue to provide you with updates as we approach our target handover date, which is only 80 days away.

Review of events

We value your feedback and would like to hear from those that were involved with the PTFA BBQ and the Whole School Production of ‘Cinderella’. If you were involved in either of these events, I would appreciate it if you could take five to ten minutes of your time to complete the surveys. The links are below:
