Step 1: Define the problem
The class was faced with a challenge they had to construct a parachute using different materials. They had to work in pairs and design a parachute together. The aim was to construct a parachute which falls to the ground the slowest. They learnt about gravity, and how it affects us on a daily basis.

They threw them off the jungle gym to test whose would drop the slowest to the ground. Benny and Han Tang won this challenge.
In order to improve their parachutes we will have to go back and look at what went wrong. How can they better their parachutes, using a different method to assemble it or use different materials.
