David Ardley

Design and Enterprise Director

David Ardley joined us from Cranleigh School, UK, where he was Head of Faculty and had a Marketing role. He began teaching at Taunton School, then Whitgift School as a Housemaster, Head of Department at Wellington College, Stowe and at the International School of Toulouse. Educated in Hong Kong, David studied a 4 year B.Ed. in Design with education at Middlesex University. He’s a schools inspector, an IBO workshop leader and advises on the development of facilities for Design, Art and ICT. He is our Design & Enterprise Director and Secondary ICT Coordinator. David manages the curriculum area for Design on the NAE University and is passionate about design and creativity in education and school leadership. He blogs, tweets, collects product design, loves driving his Lotus 7, rugby and being with friends and family. David speaks French and can order a beer in Cantonese.
