Kim van Helvoort

Operations and Site Manager

Kim van Helvoort began her work at La Côte International School in 2011 as a Teaching Assistant and Extra-Curricular Activities Coordinator. She also became the school’s Health and Safety Officer when the school joined Nord Anglia Education.

With the school’s move to Aubonne in 2014, she started a new role as the Operations and Site Manager.  In preparation for the new responsibilities, she obtained a ‘Chargé de Sécurité’ qualification from the Etablissement Cantonaux d’Assurance.  As well as managing the building and site, she is responsible for the school transport service and Health & Safety.

Kim is American and Swiss, originally from central Ohio. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies at Miami University, including a year abroad in Luxembourg.  She returned to Europe to complete a Master of Science in Economics and Industrial Relations at the London School of Economics. She is fluent in French and German as additional languages.

In her free time, she enjoys Switzerland’s mountains and forests when skiing and hiking with family and friends.
