Our School Day

We have a varied school day that combines classroom learning with sport, outdoor activity, and collaborative challenges. Our students learn the value of seeking their own knowledge as well as being taught.

  • Primary students and guitars
  • EYFS student playing in gymboree room

A child's education should involve a variety of inspirational experiences. We pride ourselves in enabling our students to learn in many different ways.

In addition to our inspiring curriculum, we encourage our students to take part in challenges and tasks, and to seek knowledge on their own or as part of a group. They experience the wider community through school trips, exchanges and activities in our safe, rural environment. And our Global Campus platform connects them to students in Nord Anglia Education schools across the world.

Our extra-curricular activity programme gives them the chance to develop hobbies and passions, from technology to art, and from sport to music and drama. Our Outdoor Classroom is used to support the curriculum.

Travelling to School

Parents may drop their children off at school or older students may come to Aubonne on public transport from the Allaman train station and the public bus. In addition, La Côte International School provide a round-trip bus transport service to and from its Aubonne Campus for those families who are interested in opting for this service.

Daily Pick-up and Drop-off from local towns

La Côte International School organizes a school bus service for interested parents.  Although this is not a “door to door” system, stops are chosen for the convenience of the greatest number of students, safety and location. Our buses are designed for and insured to take children from three years of age and have suitable seatbelts and booster seats as required.

For complete details on the bus Transport Services, including the costs and zone details, please see the General & Financial Conditions 2014-2015.
