4A are in the middle of a topic all about Ancient Rome.  This week they have been focusing on famous Romans such as: Julius Caesar, Nero, Marius, Trajan, Justinian and Augustus.  The children carried our research on their chosen Roman and then produced an information poster about them.  They produced the posters in English as well as their home language.

When they completed the posters the children looked at how Romans used mosaics.  They then produced a mosaic of their chosen Roman.  They traced a picture of their person and then transferred this onto A3 paper.  They then used paint to produce the mosaic effect.  They look fantastic!

At the end of this topic the children will put all their work together in a Roman Museum.  They are really looking forward to sharing everything they have learnt and produced.
