THE BEST POSSIBLE START TO THEIR EDUCATION

Our nursery and reception children follow the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum at our international preschool in Bratislava. At this vital first stage in their education, we lay important developmental foundations, teaching the basics in English, maths and science through planned, purposeful play activities.

There’s plenty of time for your child to express themselves, too, through music, games, and exploration at our kindergarten in Slovakia.

Our Forest School curriculum takes children on adventures into the great outdoors, including visits to local woods, farms and zoos. We also run a tailored after-school programme. From football, dance and ballet to crafts and construction, children pick up important skills and discover new talents.

Our students love learning in the fresh air, getting tactile with water, sand and mud. Our outdoor kitchen is the ideal place for messy play, where children can concoct crazy potions and let their imaginations run wild.

Assessing your child’s progress

Our teachers make regular observations, keeping a record of how your child is doing and monitoring their progress against key developmental milestones. These assessments also help us to understand your child’s preferred style of learning. Through Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) sessions and tutor time, we look after your child’s well-being, too.

A WORLD OF OUTDOOR ADVENTURES AWAITS

Our innovative Forest School Curriculum brings learning to life, as our early years and primary children get outdoors, connect with nature, and immerse themselves in experiential learning. Adventures into the Dúbravka Forest are packed with fun activities, from building dens and climbing trees to learning about plants and local wildlife. This teaches our students about the world and develops essential life skills.
