The Story of Hoda, Jason and Minkyoung

Here are the stories of our best musicians.

  • hoda jahanpour
  • minkyoung
  • jason wang

Hoda Jahanpour played chello since she was six and performs as a soloist and in chamber groups. She is a part of a trio, which won a gold medal in a chamber music competition in Slovakia.  She has also played piano trios with her two sisters. One of her most exciting music experience was getting to play as a soloist with the Prague Chamber Orchestra when she was nine and recently she got to play as a part of a university orchestra.

Minkyoung Choi has a great passion about playing violin and she is a member of the secondary orchestra and her music school orchestra. Our secondary orchestra always performs at the summer concert taking place every summer. Her music school orchestra performs in concerts and every winter at the Bratislava Castle.

Jason Wang play the recorder, piano and oboe. He had a year of a violin two years ago. He currently attends the music school where he practices all his instruments one hour per week along singing lessons. He performs frequently as a soloist in various venues throughout the city of Bratislava.
