Community Service – ART Club

At BVIS we like to focus on 3 areas for our community service projects.

PEOPLE : ENVIRONMENT : ANIMALS

To help with raising community awareness, the Art Club took up the challenge to design a special logo for each category.

  • BVIS community art club 20151211 (2)
  • BVIS community art club 20151211 (1)

They researched and looked at different styles, armed with this knowledge and with a blank piece of paper they set about creating a unique Logo which could be used especially for BVIS.

Both Ms. Holden and I were very impressed with some of the ideas and found it difficult to choose our favourites.  After consultation the 3 winning designs were chosen and the students took away their original artwork to improve on it even further.

The winning logos

PEOPLE

Well done to Chuc An - 8V and Chau An - 8B for their wonderful design incorporating the love and care that we try to share for everyone.

ENVIRONMENT

Well done to Yen Chi - 9B and Mai Phuong - 8B who have incorporated the green ethos on a global scale.

ANIMALS

Well done to Minh Chi 9V and Diep San 8B for their interpretation to highlight endangered species and choosing the plight of the Moon Bears in Vietnam.

I think you will all agree that they have come up with some fabulously creative designs.  The art club have now taken up the challenge to produce larger artworks with a community service theme which I look forward to displaying in the corridor once completed.
