Love Enrichment Day - Marriott visit

As part of our Love Enrichment Day on February 14^th , a group of Secondary pupils visited the Marriott hotel for a masterclass in Korean cooking. The two-hour session was led by Chef Alan who has worked for Marriott for 16 years and is an expert in Korean cuisine. The session involved demonstrations, discussions and a chance to prepare and eat Korean food. The hotel provided our pupils with work stations where they prepared their food in teams of three. We prepared and ate Geotjeori, Ttekbokki, Kimbap and various salads. It was a really great experience for everybody involved and a lot of fun exploring ingredients from another country. A huge ‘thank you’ to Chef Alan and everybody at the Marriott hotel!
