This week in the Primary School – Ms. Rosy Clark 08/04/2016

It may have been the final week of term, but learning at BVIS has been as active and as exciting as ever:

Lien Ket Exit Points

Term 2’s Lien Ket topics have been coming to an end with some great “exit points”.

Many Year 3 parents came into school on Tuesday morning for their children to share some of their learning with them in the form of pictures, models, activities and presentations.

Year 6 parents were also invited into school on Thursday. The children had prepared presentations about a variety of locations in the school’s foyer for parents to enjoy.

Mr Oliver took part in our very first Primary enterprise challenge which was Year 5’s “exit point” on Tuesday.

Year 5 Exit Point: Mini-Enterprise Competition

Learning is regularly enhanced at BVIS through trips and visitors. This week Year 2 visited the Reunification Palace as part of their “Time Travellers” topic and F3 visited “Dinosaur Land” in Dam Sen Park to bring their “Dinosaurs” topic to an exciting close.

“Wind in the Willows”

As you know, all our Early Years and Primary children have at least 1 performance opportunity every academic year at BVIS. Term 2 ended with the fabulous Year 4 production of “Wind in the Willows”. This classic children’s story was brought to life by Year 4 with wonderful singing and drama skills.

Congratulations to all the Year 4 children and a big thank you to all staff for their hard work behind the scenes.
