Stan Cullimore School Visit

Stan Cullimore School Visit Visiting author Stan Cullimore is in school for three days working with the Primary children during Book Week. Stan started off as a musician, playing guitar and singing in a band (The Housemartins) that sold millions of records around the world. He has also written several well-­known children’s books including Killer Sharks, Super Teacher, and Bubble Attack.

Book Week is finally here! Over the course of the week the children will be able to take part in various activities and events organised by the teachers. From Tuesday to Thursday our visiting author, Stan Cullimore, will be doing a number of workshops and presentations for the Primary students. His books are also on sale at lunchtimes and after school on the days he is in school and he will be available to sign copies of these.

There is the bookshop "Books@53" outside the Library from 7:30am to 4:00pm and the Used Book Sale inside the Library. Also, don’t forget to have your costume ready for the Book Character Parade on Friday. This will begin on the field at 8:00am before we all move to the Sports Hall to find out who the winners are!
