I have a strong desire to be an established art teacher, I aim to keep improving my artistic skill and teaching potential. So in order to gain teaching experience, I have worked in a variety of situations! 10 years ago I began studying for a bachelor’s degree of Art Education at Chulalongkorn University. I volunteered to teach art in a small under-privileged school, located in a rural area with pollution problems. As the students came from difficult backgrounds, all teachers tried hard to help their students. Shortly after I graduated with 2nd class honours; my interest of product design brought me to work as a packaging designer where I learnt the reality of manufacturing. Day by day, my passion of studying in higher education started to grow. I finally applied and got King Rama 9’s 72 years old celebration scholarship to study a Master’s Degree of Education from Chulalongkorn University. In the final year, I did my thesis research at a large local high school in my hometown where I worked with large number of students. After I finished my M.Ed., I started to work as a university lecturer at the faculty of Education Chulalongkorn University and an art teacher at Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School. Then, I was awarded Endeavour Scholarships and fellowships to study diploma in Visual Art in Australia. That spectacular experience changed my life. It gave me more confidence to work in an international environment. I decided to join St Andrews International School Bangkok because I love to learn new things, I am also an emerging artist, I would like to share knowledge between students and art teachers who come from different countries and cultures. The school has held the highest standard of learning standards which is important for me to fulfill my working experience.
