Damian Johnson Day of Sport (SUN)

 

The 2nd Annual Damian Johnson Day of Sport was celebrated yesterday to honor the life and impact Damian had on sport in Beijing and Asia who tragically died last year. Overall there were 8 schools participating yesterday with some 200 athletes playing U19/U14 core sports (Volleyball/Basketball/Football). The following BSB students participated yesterday:

The highlight for the event was The Damian Johnson Sport award was given to Kate Ferrier. This award is voted on by all ISAC schools and is awarded to the female & male student who exemplifies what it means to play sport at a high level as well as with the integrity and respect expected from ISAC and the greater sports community. If you see Kate congratulate her as this is very high honor for sports in Beijing.
