Primary FOBISIA Day 3

On our second day of the games the rain decided to hold itself to a few showers. Nothing like the day before but overall great conditions for football. What a day, BSB's FOBISIA results keep getting better. Overall we were playing in 4 of the 6 Cup Championship matches for football. Our U9 girls who did not make it into the semi-final or Cup round but won the plate for 5th place. The U10 boys won it, which is the first FOBISIA Championship won at BSB for Primary. Results keep coming in for yesterday for the Athletics/Swimming. Unofficially, we have won 60 medals in swimming and 58 in athletics. The official results and overall team winners will be announced Friday at the Gala dinner. However, the shuttle runs conducted on the Discovery Bay beach yesterday saw BSB winning a medal in each race for Y9 (2nd), Y10 (2nd), & Y11 (3rd). Meaning every child from BSB has now won a medal at the FOBISIA games. Up today is T-ball which is the final day of the games. Our teams depart back to Beijing Saturday with what has become the best showing we have ever had at the Primary FOBISIA games. Hopefully coaches have enough room in their luggage to bring back all the trophies.
