The children have been very busy in Nursery and excited to look at Christmas in more detail. They have been working so hard at practising singing their songs for their performance. They did an amazing job as they sang in front of their parents and all of the Reception children. We all enjoyed listening to them perform Little Donkey and Snowflakes falling. We were very lucky to then have some delicious hot chocolate and gingerbread biscuits after the singing. The children had helped to decorate these and had done an amazing job.

We have continued the Christmas theme in class sewing stockings, baking gingerbread men, playing with artificial snow, checking our advent calendars, ringing the Christmas bells, decorating gingerbread men and spreading yuletide cheer around the school. Our Christmas theme culminated in our Christmas party that we celebrated with some yummy food provided by the parents, we even had a traditional cheese hedgehog! The children had a wonderful time and played some party games afterwards and were in great spirits both singing and dancing. We definitely have some future dancing champions in Nursery.
