I have worked across every year group and have enjoyed leading English, Maths and PSHCE in previous posts.
I believe that education should be a happy, engaging, challenging and unique experience for every child. I recognise that every child in my class is different but that they all have one thing in common; they are each entitled to a secure, caring and stimulating atmosphere in which they can grow academically, emotionally and socially.
All children have the ability to learn and therefore my key to success is the personal relationship that I create with each child in my class. By recognising every child’s potential and learning style, I can encourage my children to be the best they can be. I believe that school should help children to become confident individuals, who are independent and creative in their thinking, and should provide opportunities for children to judge, analyse, think and discover for themselves.
When I’m not working hard, I enjoy spending time with friends, going to the cinema and relaxing by the pool or on the beach. I have been known to get quite competitive when it comes to having the best tan! I also enjoy reading and like to figure skate and snowboard when I get the chance.
I have enjoyed my first year at NAS Dubai and I can’t quite believe how quickly the year has gone. I am looking forward to my new class in September.
