Mark Walters

I began my tertiary education at Manchester University reading Psychology and was most interested in the developmental and educational aspects of the course.  I started my professional career as a lawyer but have since returned to the subjects that fascinated me years ago, and embarked on a career in teaching.

As a mature student I studied for my PGCE in the UK, inspired by my own two children and have taught in Years 4, 5 & 6.  My studies included targeting inclusion and a self-evaluation which focused on tailoring my teaching to personalise the differences in children.  These studies reflect my aim which is to reach all the learners in the classroom in the most meaningful way, to ensure best progress.

I am delighted to be part of the NAS Dubai team.  We create a superb learning environment that is both fun and stimulating. There is a great deal of attention focused on the individual child that ensures a bespoke learning experience.

Prior to Mrs Green going on maternity leave, I will be working with the children in 3E, giving me the chance to get to know all the children and making it an easier transition for them.  I am really looking forward to working with 3E this term.
