The children and teachers have such incredible opportunities open to them, whether it is working with MIT or the Juilliard School. No two lessons are ever the same! The children are wonderful, full of enthusiasm and totally committed to learning. It is a joy to come to work.
After completing a Bachelor's Degree in Education in Liverpool I worked for many years in schools in Lancashire and Nottinghamshire. However, 11 years ago my wife and I decided to broaden our horizons and combine our love of travel with our jobs; by moving into international education. One of the joys of teaching in International Education is the fact that you encounter so many different nationalities and cultures under one roof and in the same classroom; providing a fantastic multi-cultural learning environment.
I enjoy travelling as it allows me to fulfill my passion for learning, broadening my own horizons and challenging myself. My most recently planned trip is set to encompass the East Coast of the USA, where I hope to learn about the War of Independence and the Civil War.
Away from school I am a sports fanatic, both watching and playing. I have a Yorkshire Terrier (who is perhaps the most spoilt dog in the world), and there is nothing more pleasant than taking Bob the dog for a walk in the evening.
